Who we are

With over 85 years of combined experience in the air conditioning and refrigeration industry, we are immensely proud of the family business we have built since 2009. Our wealth of experience in air conditioning installation and maintenance ensures that we are able to respond to any job that may arise. We are delighted to have worked on a range of projects throughout the UK in both the domestic and commercial sector.

Based in York, North Yorkshire iCool Limited was established and based on a very simple, but we believe often forgotten, ethos. We believe in providing an excellent service to our clients which is echoed through regular communication and a punctual and well-presented team. Simple. We are proud of the relationships we have built and sustained throughout the years and our attention to detail really sets us apart from the rest of the industry. As a minimum, we ensure that our projects are completed on time and within budget but we are continually striving to exceed our customers’ expectations as we care about what we do.

The founder, Alex, has trained the entire team to follow his impeccably high standards and he won’t settle for anything less. Alex also prides himself in offering local apprentices the opportunity to work within iCool, providing them with the education and training to qualify as Level 3 engineers. iCool Ltd holds FGas certification for and on behalf of REFCOM, CHAS accreditation and are approved Mitsubishi, Daikin and Toshiba installers, ensuring that we are adhering to the highest industry standards. Our excellent reputation has enabled us to be recommended throughout the industry and to ensure a UK wide presence.
